A case of embezzlement of Rs 1.16 crore has come to light in PMCH.

A case of embezzlement of Rs 1.16 crore has come to light in PMCH. It is being told that a case of embezzlement of one crore 16 lakh 92 thousand rupees by RG Software and System, a patient registration agency in Patna Medical College Hospital, has come to light. In this regard, the Superintendent of PMCH, Dr. IS Thakur has lodged an FIR against the operator of the agency, Rakesh Kumar, in the Pirbahor police station, in which he has alleged that the agency has received one crore 16 lakh 92 thousand rupees from the registration of the patients. not deposited in It is said that a case has been registered against Rakesh Kumar at Pirbahor police station under sections 406, 409 of the Indian Penal Code. After the FIR, the Pirbahor police station is engaged in the investigation of the case. Documents related to this are being checked.

Along with the money, the data of the patients is also with the agency.

The agency's office is at Narayan Palace on Fraser Road near Dakbangla Square. The agency was given the responsibility of registering patients in PMCH. Also, it was agreed that every day the amount received from the patients from the registration will have to be deposited in the government treasury. But, the agency did not deposit the amount received from the registration and its records from July, 2017 to May, 2020. The amount of about 34 months is one crore 16 lakh rupees, about which the agency is missing. Along with this, the data of the patients has also been taken with them.

Amount not returned even after repeated requests

In this regard, a letter was also sent by the PMCH administration on October 12, 2022 to return the amount of registration and all the records. But, the agency did not even respond to that letter. Thereafter an FIR was lodged. The special thing is that the data of Corona patients was also with the agency, because their registration was also done by the agency. But, in this case the question has arisen that why the FIR was lodged after about 22 months? Whereas legal action should have been taken by registering a case against the agency in advance.
