Kantara has broken the record of lifetime collection of KGF 1.
In its third week, the Hindi version of
Kantara has already beaten the lifetime collection of KGF: Chapter 1 (Hindi). According to film trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the film may end this week on a high note. "The Hindi version of

It is being told that the Hindi version of
Kantara has crossed the Rs 50 crore mark on Wednesday. According to Taran Adarsh's tweet, it has earned 2.75 crores on Friday, 4.10 on Saturday, 4.40 on Sunday, 2.30 on Monday and 2.30 crore on Tuesday. In this way, till Tuesday, a total of 47.55 crores has been earned.
Global collection more than Rs 280 crore
According to reports,
Kantara's global collection is more than Rs 280 crore from the earnings of all the versions. In
Karnataka alone, tickets worth more than Rs 100 crore have been sold for the film. It has also grown strongly in
Tamil Nadu, where it is running in over 150 screens despite new Tamil releases during

The film will not release on OTT on November 4
The massive success of the film at the ticket window sparked a discussion on social media about the release of the film on the OTT platform. It was also rumored on various social media platforms that the period action thriller '
Kantara' will release on OTT on November 4. But recently the makers denied these rumors outright. The producer of the film, Karthik Gowda, tweeted through his official Twitter handle that the film is not releasing on OTT anytime soon. "Wrong news! We'll let you know when it's coming out but definitely not on November 4th," he said.
