At present, there are about 7500 thousand employees in Twitter.

After buying Twitter for $44 billion, Elon Musk has started fundamental changes in the company. After first suspending all the big executives including Twitter CEO Parag Agarwal and then removing the entire board of directors, now Musk can also reduce the company's workforce. If reports are to be believed, Elon Musk has planned to remove 3700 employees from Twitter.

At present, there are about 7500 thousand employees in Twitter. A Bloomberg report said that Musk could notify the employees fired from the company by Friday. Apart from this, Musk can also end the 'work from anywhere' facility given to the employees of the social media company. After this, Twitter workers will be left with the option of going to the office and working. However, certain exemptions may be provided to the employees.

It is worth noting that even earlier there were reports that Musk could fire many employees of the company by November 1. Some reports have even claimed that Musk can show the way out to 75 percent of Twitter workers. However, Musk, the owner of companies like Tesla and SpaceX, dismissed these reports.

Musk is the only director on the board of directors

As soon as Musk took over the reins of Twitter, several top executives including Twitter CEO Parag Agarwal were sacked. Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Ned Siegel was also sacked. Now Musk will single-handedly handle the responsibility of the 'Board of Directors'. Let us tell you that the top Twitter officials including Parag Agarwal, Ned Segal, Vijaya Gadde were on the target of Elon Musk for a long time. There was a war of words and war between him and Musk before the acquisition of Twitter. This was the reason that Musk first left them as soon as he acquired this social media site.
