Police have registered a case in connection with the death of former Tata Sons chairman Cyrus Mistry in a road accident.

Police have registered a case in connection with the death of former Tata Sons chairman Cyrus Mistry in a road accident. The Casa Police of Maharashtra has registered a case against Anahita Pandole, who was driving during the accident, under sections 304 (A), 279, 336, 338 in connection with the death of former Tata Sons chairman Cyrus Mistry. The police have registered a case after recording the statement of husband Darius Pandole. Palghar SP Balasaheb Patil has confirmed this.

According to Palghar police, Anahita Pandole is undergoing treatment. He is still in ICU. In fact, former Tata Sons chairman Cyrus Mistry died in a road accident on September 4 this year.

Earlier, there was a big disclosure about Mistry's death in a car accident. In September, his Mercedes-Benz car met with an accident on a bridge in Maharashtra's Palghar district. At that time the car was driving Dr. Anahita Pandole. She and her husband Darius Pandole were seriously injured, while Cyrus Mistry and another were killed. 

Darius Pandole had told the police that his wife Dr. Anahita was driving the car in the third lane and could not go into the second lane. Another car driving ahead of them had changed lanes, but suddenly seeing a truck, Anahita could not bring the car from the third lane to the second and during this time she collided with the railing of the bridge and became a victim of the accident. The bridge over the Surya river in Palghar, Maharashtra is narrow and this is where the accident happened. 

Darius Pandole (60) had recorded the statement of Darius Pandole (60) at his residence on Tuesday by the officials of the Kasa police station in Palghar. The accident took place on September 4 in the same police station area. Former Tata Sons chairman Cyrus Mistry (54) and his friend Jehangir Pandole were killed when the car collided with the railing of the bridge. While the gynecologist Dr Anahita (55) and her husband Darius, who was driving the car, suffered serious injuries. Darius Pandole was admitted to a hospital in Mumbai after the accident. He was discharged from the hospital only last week. His statement was recorded by the police at his residence in South Mumbai. 

Pandole could not easily remember the events 

Pandole could not easily remember the events of the September 4 accident. On being reminded, he told that Dr. Anahita was driving the car in the third lane. Another car moving ahead of him went from third to second lane, during this time his wife also tried to move the car to the second lane, but when a truck appeared in front of that lane, she could not take the car in the narrow second lane and During this it collided with the railing. Jehangir Pandole, who died in the accident, is Darius' brother. All of them along with Mistry were returning to Mumbai from Udvada in Gujarat.  Dr. Pandole is not right yet Palghar Superintendent of Police Balasaheb Patil confirmed that Pandole's statement has been recorded. But the statement of his wife Dr. Pandole has to be recorded. Dr. Pandole is still recovering. He said the final investigation report of the Mercedes-Benz accident is also awaited.
