Earthquake: Late night earthquake in North India including Delhi-NCR, six people died in Nepal

There were strong tremors of earthquake in the whole of North India including Delhi-NCR late on Tuesday night. Due to strong tremors twice, people came out of their homes in many colonies and localities. The tremors of the earthquake were felt at 1.58 pm. After stopping for some time, two people who were sleeping woke up and came out of the houses. At the same time, six people have died in Nepal, which was the epicenter of the earthquake. According to news agency ANI, these people have died after a house collapsed in Doti district. 

Some of the horrified people started checking their houses and walls. After some time, people's phones kept ringing to inform each other about the earthquake and to confirm it. According to experts, the magnitude of the earthquake was more than 6.3. Apart from Delhi-NCR, people also felt the tremors of the earthquake in adjoining districts of Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand.

According to the National Center for Seismology, its epicenter was 10 km below the ground in Manipur, Nepal. The tremors of earthquake have been felt for the second time in just five hours in North India. Earlier on Tuesday night at 8.52 pm, earthquake tremors were felt in many parts of UP including Lucknow. Its intensity was measured at 4.9 on the Richter scale. At the same time, this was the third earthquake in Nepal within 24 hours on Tuesday. 

Let us tell that the tremors of the earthquake were also felt in the cities of Uttar Pradesh's Lucknow, Moradabad, Meerut Bareilly etc. At the same time, tremors were also felt in Faridabad, Gurugram, Greater Noida of NCR. During this, there was news of people moving up to their beds from many places. However, it is a matter of relief that no accident was reported from these places.

Suraj, who works at night in Noida, told that I was in the office when my seat started shaking. The earthquake alarm sounded in the office after which we came out from there. We went back inside after about 10 minutes. 

A taxi driver at New Delhi railway station told that I was taking a ride, when the tremors of the earthquake were felt. The ride in the car landed. We felt it for a short time.

A passenger present at the railway station told that  we were getting down from an auto that we felt the tremors. The auto driver was also scared, I looked around and others also felt the tremors. I stopped soon after.
