Voting for the US mid-term elections is about to end.

Voting for the US mid-term elections is about to end. Former President Donald Trump announced Tuesday that he has cast his vote for Florida Governor Ron DeSantis. He was asked if he had voted for DeSantis during a conversation with reporters outside a polling place in Palm Beach, reports CNN. Voted for, Trump said, "Yes, I did." He went on to say that "I think Tuesday night is going to be a great night for Republicans and it's exciting".

According to CNN, Trump cast his vote at the Morton and Barbara Mandel Recreation Center in Palm Beach, minutes from his Mar-a-Lago estate. Trump arrived here with former First Lady Melania Trump.

Earlier, The Washington Post reported that millions of Americans were seen walking to their polling stations in Virginia, Maryland and Washington DC. The outcome of the election will decide the future of the country. This election is considered important for the ruling Democratic Party. According to Indian time, the counting of votes will be done after 5.30 am on Wednesday and the results will be out by noon. All eyes are on the outcome of the election, which will decide who will control the House. However, there is a general expectation that the party of President Joe Biden will be shocked by these results.

Voting was held for all 435 seats in the US House of Representatives and about 35 out of 100 in the US Senate. According to CNN, currently, the situation is a bit volatile for Democrats as Republicans are only five seats away from securing a majority to control the House. While Democrats are trying to strike a balance in the midterm election, Republicans are working hard to increase their current control over the regime and the US House of Representatives.

Currently, the upper house, the Senate, whose senators are elected fraudulently, is split 50-50 between the two parties, CNN reports. And Democrats are currently in control as Vice President Kamala Harris won a tie-breaking vote. So Republicans only need to win one seat to take control of the upper house (Senate). It is possible that the Republican Party may become a majority in the upper house Senate as well. An analysis on the CNN website said - 'If the Democratic Party suffers a bad defeat, then most fingers will be pointed at Biden. It will be said within the party that Biden failed to send the right message to the people.

Republican Party atmosphere

On Monday, all media outlets estimated that in the last days of the election campaign, the atmosphere was tilting in favor of the Republican Party. Excited by this, former President Donald Trump said that he will give a big information to the country on 15 November. It is understood that on that day he will announce his candidacy for the 2024 presidential election. On Monday, media reports said that in the last week of campaigning, the position of Trump supporters within the Republican Party, especially Trump, has become relatively stronger. Trump's party gets Musk's support

In the US mid-term election, Twitter's new owner Elon Musk urged Americans to elect a Republican Congress. This is to strike a balance with the ruling Democrats. He tweeted, "If there is a division of powers, then the worst excesses of both the parties will be curbed. Given that the president is a Democrat, I recommend voting for a Republican Congress. "Let's be clear, I voted Democrat independently," he said. In the future, I am prepared to support voting for Democrats.

Attack on husband will affect decision to remain in Congress: Pelosi

US House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi has said the brutal attack on her husband will affect her decision to remain in Congress after the midterm elections. Democratic leader Pelosi urged Americans to vote to defend democracy. Talking about the recent attack on her husband, Pelosi's eyes became moist and she said, "I am sad for what happened to her husband, as well as sad for the country." I just want people to vote and we will respect the election results. Hopefully the other side will also respect the results.
