Jalori Pass and Manali-Leh road have been restored for vehicular movement till Keylong, but vehicles will be allowed on both the routes only in the afternoon.

The Granphu-Kaza-Samdo road along the strategically important China border in Himachal Pradesh was closed till further orders due to snowfall. The administration issued orders to close this route, so that no tourist or other vehicle can go towards this route. Although the weather opened on Tuesday, 146 roads are still closed and 143 power transformers are stalled in the state due to snowfall on the previous day. Jalori Pass and Manali-Leh road have been restored for vehicular movement till Keylong, but vehicles will be allowed on both the routes only in the afternoon.

 Normal life has been affected due to blackout in Chamba's Pangi and Kullu's Kharahal Valley. The Meteorological Center Shimla has expressed the possibility of clear weather on Wednesday and Thursday. The weather will remain mixed on November 18 as well, but on November 19 there are chances of rain and snowfall in some areas. Deputy Commissioner and Chairman of District Disaster Management Authority Lahaul-Spiti, Sumit Khimta said that keeping in view the heavy snowfall and slippery roads in the high peaks of the district, the Granphu-Kaja-Samdo National Highway-505 along the Granphu-Kaja-Samdo National Highway-505 from Losar to Granphu including Chandratal The lake is also included, has been closed for all vehicular movement till further orders. Action will be taken against those who disobey the orders under disaster management rules.

Till Tuesday evening, 134 roads remained closed in Lahaul-Spiti, six in Kullu, three in Kangra, two in Chamba and one in Shimla. 95 in Chamba and 48 in Kullu are switched off. Five drinking water schemes were affected in Lahaul-Spiti. There is power failure in Kharhal valley adjoining Kullu since Monday night. In more than half of the tribal area of ​​Pangi in district Chamba, life could not get back on track for the second day on Tuesday. On the other hand, after the snowfall, the temperature in the areas around the Atal Tunnel has reached the freezing point. The weather remained clear in most areas of the state including the capital Shimla on Tuesday.
