The arrested persons have been identified as Prakash Singh alias Mintu of village Barke in Ferozepur district and Englishman Singh alias Geja, resident of Alike village under Sadar police station of Ferozepur.

Amritsar Police busted the terrorist network and arrested two terrorists. Police have recovered three hand grenades, one lakh rupees in Indian currency and a car from their possession. However, in view of the seriousness of the matter, the top police officers are not ready to reveal anything. Very soon DGP Gaurav Yadav can hold a press conference in Chandigarh regarding this matter. 

The arrested persons have been identified as Prakash Singh alias Mintu of village Barke in Ferozepur district and Englishman Singh alias Geja, resident of Alike village under Sadar police station of Ferozepur. The police had information that these people were coming from Pathankot towards Amritsar in a car. Police started checking vehicles by blockade in Maqboolpura area on Thursday morning.

Meanwhile, a car coming from Pathankot was stopped and searched and three hand grenades were recovered from the car. Apart from this, the police also recovered Indian currency of Rs one lakh from the possession of the accused. The police suspect that the accused were bringing the said grenade from some terrorist organization of Jammu and Kashmir. After taking both of them into custody, the police have started investigating the matter.
