There will be no CBI investigation in Shraddha murder case, Aftab said in court - it was just hit of moment

Shraddha murder case: Delhi High Court today rejected the petition regarding handing over the investigation of Shraddha murder case to CBI. The court said that we do not see a single reason on the basis of which this petition should be heard, so the court rejected the petition. A petition was filed in the Delhi High Court in which an appeal was made to hand over the investigation of the Shraddha murder case from the hands of the police to the CBI.

Today Delhi Court has extended the remand of accused Aftab in Shraddha murder case for four days. Along with this, the court has also given permission for Aftab's polygraph test. Aftab Poonawala was arrested on 12 November for killing his live-in partner Shraddha and dismembering her body into 35 pieces and throwing it in the forest.

Aftab was produced in the Saket court on Tuesday morning. Poonawala's lawyer told that on his tip the police started searching the pond where he had thrown the body parts. The lawyer has informed that he has given a sketch of the pond where he has thrown the pieces of Shraddha's partner.

Aftab said in the court that Delhi is a new place for him, so he would not be able to recognize the place. He is fully cooperating with the police so that the investigation can be done properly. He said that whatever happened was just a hit of the moment, there was nothing intentional in it.
