Five assault rifles, five pistols and nine magazines were recovered from the bag.

Border Security Force (BSF) personnel are continuously thwarting Pakistan's conspiracy in Punjab. Now Amritsar Police and BSF have recovered five assault rifles, five pistols and nine magazines from the international border near Dona Telumal outpost in Firozpur, Punjab. All these materials were in a bag. It was kept hidden by Pakistani smugglers. It is noteworthy that on Monday STF arrested a smuggler with eight pistols, 14 magazines and 63 cartridges from Amritsar. This consignment of weapons has been recovered from Ferozepur on his signal. 

According to intelligence sources, the Amritsar police arrested smuggler Paramjeet with weapons and heroin. During interrogation, he told that a bag full of weapons was hidden near Gate No. 195 of the border fence near BSF's Dona Telumal outpost. On Tuesday, the police, along with BSF Battalion-136, recovered a bag full of weapons from the farm across the fence. 

Five assault rifles, five pistols and nine magazines were recovered from the bag. Amritsar police has taken the said weapon with it. It may be known that even before this, AK-47, pistol and cartridges which came from Pakistan have been seized from Ferozepur. As soon as winter starts, fog has started. The activities of smugglers have increased on the border under the cover of fog.
