CTET 2022 is to be conducted from December 2022 to January 2023.

The application process for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2022 being conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is over. CBSE may announce the dates of this exam soon. However, regarding the exam month, CBSE had already clarified in the notification that CTET 2022 will be conducted from December 2022 to January 2023. Applications were sought from candidates for CTET 2022 between 31 October to 24 November 2022. CTET consists of two papers and candidates have to appear in Paper 1 to become a teacher for classes 1 to 5 and Paper 2 to become a teacher in classes 6 to 8. In both the papers, 150 questions are asked to the candidates and each question carries one mark in this exam. On the other hand, talking about the marking pattern, one mark is given to the candidates for each correct answer. While there is no provision for negative marking in this exam. what is the exam pattern

In CTET Paper 1, candidates will be asked 30 questions from Child Development and Pedagogy, 30 questions from Language-1, 30 questions from Language-2, 30 questions from Mathematics and 30 questions from Environmental Studies. Whereas in Paper 2, 30 questions will be asked from Child Development and Pedagogy, 30 questions from Language-1, 30 questions from Language-2 and 60 questions from Mathematics and Science or Social Studies and Social Science. In this exam, candidates will get two and a half hours to solve each paper.
