Gujarat Election 2022: For the Gujarat Assembly Elections 2022, the last and second phase of voting is to be held on December 5. In the second phase, the process of voting will start on 93 seats from 8 am on Monday. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Gandhinagar on Sunday. Here he met his mother Heeraben. PM Modi will also cast his vote in the second phase of Gujarat elections on 5 December. The Prime Minister is a voter of the Sabarmati assembly constituency of Ahmedabad.

PM Modi will vote in Ranipani Nishan School

According to the information coming out, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will vote in Ranipani Nishan School, which falls in Sabarmati assembly constituency of Ahmedabad. PM Modi is a voter of Sabarmati assembly seat and his mother Heeraben will exercise her vote in Gandhinagar.

Voting will be held on 93 seats in the second phase

There are 833 candidates in the fray in the second phase of the Gujarat Assembly elections. According to the state election body, the candidates also include 285 independents. In the second phase, BJP and AAP are contesting on all 93 seats. Whereas, Congress is contesting on 90 seats. At the same time, NCP has fielded candidates on two seats. Along with this, BTP has fielded 12 and BSP 44 candidates. The 93 assembly constituencies that will go to polls on Monday are spread across Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Gandhinagar and other districts.

Election campaign ended on Saturday evening

Let us tell that in the second phase of Gujarat elections 2022, voting will be held on 93 seats on Monday. The campaigning for the second phase ended on Saturday evening. Voting was held on December 1 in the first phase on 89 seats in Saurashtra, Kutch and South Gujarat regions. The average polling in the first phase was recorded at 63.31 percent. There are a total of 182 seats in the Gujarat Legislative Assembly.
