New facility started at Patna Junction, now general tickets can be deducted within 20 km radius of the station

Passengers traveling from any stations under East Central Railway including Patna Junction will get freedom from long queues at the counter for deducting unreserved tickets. On the instructions of Ministry of Railways, Danapur Division has increased the distance covered for booking unreserved tickets through UTS app.

Now passengers will be able to book tickets on the app from a distance of 20 km from the starting station. Earlier this facility was available on the app only within a radius of five km. The benefits of this facility have started pouring in. Chief Public Relations Officer of Poomre, Virendra Kumar said that this new rule has been made for the convenience of the passengers. On the instructions of the Ministry of Railways, it has also been started in East Central Railway.

To book unreserved tickets, sign up for registration after downloading the UTS Mobile App from Google Play Store, Apple Store.

After registering the login ID, mobile number, use the four digit password received from the message.

Select the type of tickets, journey ticket, season ticket, platform ticket and number of passengers.

Use R Violet to pay for the ticket amount.

R Violet can be recharged through Debit card, Net banking, UPI or UTS counter.

Apart from R Violet, you can also pay through Debit Card, Net Banking, UPI.

According to the new facility, if you people of Rajeev Nagar, Digha Ashiana, Nepali Nagar, Patliputra, Mahendru, other areas of Patna City, Phulwarisharif, Gola Road etc. were not able to book tickets through the UTS app earlier, but now through the new UTS app, you can go home. Seated tickets can be booked.

Passengers wearing them could book tickets only from within a radius of 2 km. After this it was expanded up to 5 km. In this many times people could not book tickets due to the problem of missing network from mobile. In view of this, now this distance has been fixed at 20 km.
