India-China held 17th round of talks amid border dispute, Ministry of External Affairs said this on rising Corona cases

Foreign Ministry spokesperson Arindam Bagchi told a press conference that the 17th round of India-China Corps Commander level meeting was held by the Chinese side on December 20 at Chushul Moldo.

Relations between the two countries have escalated after a violent clash between Indian and Chinese soldiers in Tawang. Meanwhile, the 17th round of Corps Commander-level meeting between India and China took place on 20 December. The Ministry of External Affairs has given information about the 17th round of Corps Commander-level meeting. 

Foreign Ministry spokesperson Arindam Bagchi told a press conference that the 17th round of India-China Corps Commander level meeting was held by the Chinese side on December 20 at Chushul Moldo. During this both sides exchanged views along the LAC in the western sector and held frank and in-depth discussions to work out the remaining issues at the earliest. 

He informed that during the meeting both sides agreed to maintain security and stability on the ground in the western sector and maintain dialogue through military and diplomatic channels and work on a mutually acceptable resolution.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of External Affairs has also given a statement regarding the rising corona cases in China. Foreign Ministry spokesman Arindam Bagchi said that we are monitoring the situation of Kovid in China. We are the pharmacy of the world and have always helped other countries in that capacity. We are yet to issue a travel advisory, but for the time being people should follow local guidelines in the country they are living in.  

India has consistently supported women's education in Afghanistan. He also expressed concern over the ban on girls' university education in Afghanistan. Keeping India's side on this issue, the spokesperson of the Ministry of External Affairs said that India has consistently supported women's education in Afghanistan. I would also like to recall UNSC Resolution 2593, which upholds human rights that call for equal participation for women.
