Team India's star cricketer Rishabh Pant has become a victim of a road accident. His car hit the divider in Roorkee. Pant suffered head and leg injuries in the accident. The car caught fire after the accident and the car was completely burnt. Pant was taken out by breaking the glass of the car and was taken to the hospital. Pant was returning from Delhi to his home in Uttarakhand. His car met with an accident near Hammadpur Jhal on the Narsan border of Roorkee.

Pant's car was at a very high speed and after hitting the divider, the car broke the railing and reached the other side, after which it caught fire. The incident is being told at 5:30 in the morning. After the accident, on the information of passers-by, Rishabh Pant, who was seriously injured, was admitted to Saksham Hospital on Delhi Road. Initially, Pant's condition was critical, but gradually his condition improved. After this he was taken to Max Hospital in Dehradun. He will also have plastic surgery here. Dr. Sushil Nagar of Saksham Hospital told that Rishabh Pant has fractured his leg and also has an injury on his forehead. Some stitches have been applied on the forehead.

It is being told that Pant's car hit the strong iron railing on the side of the divider at high speed and broke the railing and reached the other side. Being at high speed, the car stopped after skidding for about 200 metres. After this it caught fire. It has been told that the passers-by who reached the spot somehow broke the glass and pulled Rishabh Pant out. After which the police reached the spot on information and took him to Saksham Hospital, located about eight kilometers from Narsan towards Roorkee.

The Mercedes car in which Rishabh Pant was returning home has the number plate DL 10 CN 1717. Some money also fell from Pant's car after the accident, which was picked up by the local people.

Recently, in the Test series against Bangladesh, Rishabh Pant did amazing batting. He missed a century in the second Test, but on the basis of his excellent batting, he had put India ahead in the match and that is why Team India won the match despite the failure of important batsmen in the second innings. However, he was recently dropped from the team due to poor performance in ODIs and T20s.
