A major accident took place in Namakkal district of Tamil Nadu. There was an explosion while making crackers in a house here. Four people died in this accident. Four people, including a firecracker shop owner and three women, were killed and about the same number injured, police said.

Officials said, the explosion occurred in a house in Mohanur around 4 am. The explosion was so severe that some houses in the vicinity were also damaged. According to the police, the fire engines brought the fire under control after almost two hours of struggle. The deceased have been identified as Tillai Kumar (37), mother Selvi (57) and wife Priya (27). Apart from this, a 70-year-old woman living in the neighborhood also died. 

Ruling out any foul play, police officials about the incident said investigations were on to ascertain whether the blast was caused by an electrical short-circuit or by a candle igniting firecrackers. Happened.
