The army of Russia's private army 'Wagner Group' has once again become aggressive against Ukraine.

The army of Russia's private army 'Wagner Group' has once again become aggressive against Ukraine. The head of the Wagner Group, Yevgeny Prigozhin, has claimed that his forces have completely captured the Ukrainian city of Soledar. He said the victory would be Moscow's first major battlefield success since last summer. Tell that mercenaries work in Wagner Group, who participate in many wars by taking money. Prigozhin claimed that our troops had surrounded Ukrainian troops in the center of the city and a fight broke out in the middle of the street. The number of prisoners taken into custody will be announced tomorrow.

However, Denis Pushilin, a Russian proxy official in eastern Ukraine, told Russia's Channel One that Soledar had been captured. At the present time, according to the information I have, the center of Soledar is already under the control of Wagner units.ย

Prigozhin released a photo

Prigozhin released a photo of himself surrounded by Wagner fighters in what appears to be one of Soledar's salt mines. It was not immediately possible to verify the location of the photo and there was no confirmation from Ukrainian authorities of Prigozhin's claims, but there had been suggestions in Kyiv and Western capitals in recent days that Soledar's downfall was imminent.

Most of Soledar already under Russian control: UK Defense Ministryย ย

Britain's Ministry of Defense (MoD) said at its daily briefing earlier on Tuesday that much of Soledar was likely already under Russian control. Part of the fighting has centered on the entrance to the 200km-long disused salt mine tunnels that run beneath the district. Both sides are concerned that they could be used to infiltrate behind their border.

What is Wagner Group

Wagner Group is a Russian private army, a network of mercenaries or often called the private army of Russian President Putin. The Wagner Group is described by US military officials as a dreaded military organization that is supporting Russian forces in Ukraine. According to media reports, more than 400 mercenaries from Russia's Wagner Group were also sent to Kyiv to assassinate Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
