Next time you go to Goa, don't take selfies with tourists without their permission, else you might get in trouble. Explain that the Ministry of Tourism, Government of Goa has issued an advisory. Keeping in mind the privacy of tourists, the government has given these instructions. It has been said in the advisory that 'Do not take selfies with tourists visiting Goa or with any unknown person without their permission. Keep this in mind especially while swimming or sunbathing on the beach. Respect their privacy. This has been done for the safety of tourists and to save them from cheating.

The Ministry of Tourism of Goa has issued this advisory on Thursday. In the advisory, taking selfies from dangerous places like high hill or sea hill etc. has also been banned. Along with this, instructions have also been given to the tourists not to damage or tamper with the heritage places. As per the advisory, don't hire any illegal private taxi and ask taxi drivers to go by the meter so as not to overpay.

The Ministry of Tourism has asked to stay in hotels and villas registered with the department. Don't consume alcohol in the open. However, you can drink alcohol in shacks and restaurants, etc. Every year millions of people come to visit Goa. In such a situation, the government has given instructions to hire only registered vehicles from the Transport Department. Do not hire illegal agents for hotel stay and water sports and take help of registered agents only. The tourism department has also banned cooking in the open. For doing so, a fine of Rs 50,000 has also been imposed.
