Condemning the attack, Victoria Police said two people have been arrested so far following the violent attack. The age of the two arrested is around 30 years.

Some Khalistani supporters in Australia attacked Indians with the national flag in their hands. The video of the incident is going viral on social media platforms. Five people were injured in the incident who have been admitted to the hospital.

Australia Today tweeted that five people were injured in attacks by Khalistan supporters in Melbourne's Federation Square. After the video went viral, Bharatiya Janata Party leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa condemned the anti-India activities by Khalistani supporters in Australia.

BJP condemned

BJP leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa said that I strongly condemn the anti-India activities by Khalistani supporters in Australia. The anti-social elements who are trying to disrupt the peace and harmony of the country by these activities should be dealt with strictly and the culprits should be brought to book.

It is clearly visible in the viral video that some students are standing with the tricolor flag, then Khalistani supporters suddenly come there and chase the students and some people with the tricolor flag and are attacking them, while the Khalistan supporters hold their own flag. are taken in 

Hindu Human Rights Australia director Sarah L Gates shared a video on Twitter of a group of Khalistan supporters chasing away an Indian youth carrying the Indian national flag. Gates tweeted that the footage clearly shows a group of Khalistani men approaching a lone Indian youth standing with a tricolor and attacking him near the Federation Square Khalistan Referendum. He further said that I hope that the Australian police will not turn a blind eye.

While one of them was seen moving towards the crowd with a sword. Australia Today reported earlier that Indians in Australia had informed Victoria Police that they had planned a protest at Federation Square in Melbourne against the growing pro-Khalistan activities in the country. Meanwhile, Australian Hindu media reported that the sword-wielding Khalistani has been arrested by the police at Federation Square.
