In the first part of the session, till February 13, the President's address and general budget will be discussed in both the Houses of Parliament.

The budget session of the Parliament will start from Tuesday i.e. today. The budget session will begin with the address of President Draupadi Murmu to the joint sitting of both the Houses. In this session, the Modi government will present the last full budget of its second term on February 1. Draupadi Murmu will address both the Houses of Parliament for the first time in the Central Hall after being elected President on the first day of the session. Immediately after this, the Economic Survey will be presented on Tuesday itself.

In the first part of the session, till February 13, the President's address and general budget will be discussed in both the Houses of Parliament. During this, the Prime Minister will reply to the discussion on the address. In the first part, no bill will be introduced or passed in both the Houses of the Parliament. Legislative business will be disposed of during the second part from March 13 to April 6. In the second part of the session itself, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will reply to the discussion on the budget.

This session of Parliament can also be uproar. The government's priority will be to pass the motion of thanks on the President's address and other bills including the finance bill, then the opposition will surround the government on various issues. In the first part of the budget session, which will continue till February 13, there will be a discussion on the President's address and the general budget in both houses. During this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will reply to the discussion on the address. The government plans to introduce around 36 bills, including four related to the budgetary exercise. There will be 27 sittings during the budget session which will continue till April 6.

All eyes on the general budget

The eyes of the whole country are on the last full budget of the second term of the Modi government. Since there are assembly elections in ten states including Jammu and Kashmir this year and Lok Sabha elections next year. In such a situation, people are expected to get relief from the budget. As always, the middle class is waiting for tax relief. While various sectors related to the economy are also hoping for relief through the budget. Experts say that through the general budget, the government can make many important announcements for the electoral states.

People's eyes are on the economic survey to be presented just a day before the general budget. Economic survey reveals the state of the economy in the country. On the basis of this, experts make an estimate regarding the provisions of the general budget.

All-party meeting before the session The government had called an all-party meeting on Tuesday to run the session smoothly. Members of SP, BSP and Congress remained absent in this meeting. In the meeting, Farooq Abdullah of the National Conference raised the question of the security of Kashmiri Pandits in the Kashmir Valley. While the Bharat Rashtra Samithi announced a boycott of the President's address, alleging that he had adopted a neglectful attitude towards Telangana.ย
