By-Elections: BJP's list released for Bengal and Arunachal by-elections, know who has been nominated

The Bharatiya Janata Party has nominated Tsering Lhamu from Lumla seat in Arunachal Pradesh, while Dilip Saha has been declared its candidate from Sagardighi in West Bengal.

The BJP has declared candidates for the assembly by-elections to be held on one seat each in West Bengal and Arunachal Pradesh. The Bharatiya Janata Party has nominated Tsering Lhamu from Lumla seat in Arunachal Pradesh, while Dilip Saha has been declared its candidate from Sagardighi in West Bengal. 

According to the Election Commission, the last date for filing nominations for these two seats is February 7. The nomination papers will be scrutinized on February 8. At the same time, nominations can be withdrawn till February 10. Voting on these seats will be held on February 27. The results will be announced on March 2.

Bye-elections are to be held on six assembly and one Lok Sabha seats, including West Bengal and Arunachal Pradesh, by-elections are to be held on six assembly and one Lok Sabha seats. There will be simultaneous polling at all the places and the results will come. The assembly seats on which by-elections are to be held include Lumla assembly seat in Arunachal Pradesh, Ramgarh in Jharkhand, Sagardighi in West Bengal, Erode in Tamil Nadu and two assembly seats in Maharashtra, Kasba Peth and Chinchwad. Along with this, the by-election will be held for the Lok Sabha seat of the Union Territory of Lakshadweep, Lakshadweep.
