Former President of Pakistan Pervez Musharraf has passed away. This news has come to the fore by quoting Pakistan media. Musharraf had been ill for a long time and was being treated at a hospital in Dubai. He breathed his last at the age of 79. Musharraf was suffering from amyloidosis disease.

Pervez Musharraf was born in Delhi

Tell that former President of Pakistan and Army Chief Pervez Musharraf was born on August 11, 1943, in Delhi's Daryaganj area. A few days before the partition of India in 1947, his entire family decided to move to Pakistan. His father worked in the Government of Pakistan.

Pervez Musharraf became General in 1998

In 2020, the Lahore High Court declared unconstitutional all actions taken by the Nawaz Sharif government against Musharraf, including the filing of a complaint on the charge of high treason and the formation of a special court as well as its proceedings. 

Nawaz Sharif had made him the army chief, he was ousted from power

In 1998, Nawaz Sharif, the prime minister of Pakistan, made Pervez Musharraf the army chief. But a year later in 1999, General Musharraf overthrew Nawaz Sharif and became the dictator of Pakistan. As soon as he assumed power, Nawaz Sharif had to leave Pakistan along with his family.
