The case was registered on November 7
Nazir Fatima, a resident of Jajmau's Defense Colony, had filed a case against MLA Irfan Solanki and his brother Rizwan Solanki under serious sections for torching his house on November 7. Since then, the police is tightening the noose on them.
Eight cases are registered against Irfan Solanki
Within a month, the police had filed eight cases against Irfan one after the other, including the Gangster Act, in which charge sheet has been filed in two. In six cases, the charge sheet is in the final stage. Police will file charge sheet in those cases also by February 10.
Properties are in these areas
Police sources said that the benami properties of Irfan and his associates are in Gwaltoli, Chamanganj, Kotwali, Jajmau and Chakeri police station areas. Joint Police Commissioner Anand Prakash told that MLA Irfan's brother Rizwan also has benami property worth crores. He also has properties from Kanpur to Unnao.
28 flats were built in two blocks, a semi-built
According to Inspector Sunil Kumar, 28 flats built in two blocks were built by builder Shaukat Ali. while one is semi-finished. The owner of a flat showed the registry, after which his flat was kept out of the ambit of Caesar. The police have invoked the Gangster Act against Shaukat, who is in jail. He is shown as Irrfan's partner. ACP Kotwali Ranjit Kumar made that Shaukat Ali has three immovable properties. They will be seized.
