China is planning to increase its nuclear stockpile amid the ongoing tussle with the US over the issue of Taiwan. Kyodo News quoted sources as saying that China is planning to increase the number of its nuclear weapons to 900 by 2035. The People's Liberation Army of China has prepared a blueprint, which has been approved by Chinese President Xi Jinping. According to this blueprint, China is working vigorously to increase the strength of its army against America. 

America also understands this intention of China. In the year 2022, America had also said that China is working towards increasing its nuclear stockpile. US claims Did that China is planning to increase the number of its nuclear weapons to 1500 by the year 2035. Now this has been confirmed in the latest report as well. By the year 2035, the modernization work of the Chinese army will be completed. Some foreign experts believe that China may abandon its policy of no first use regarding nuclear weapons.

Despite Russia's aggression in the recent Russia-Ukraine war, NATO countries have not taken direct action against Russia. China feels that the reason for this is that Russia has a large stock of nuclear weapons. According to the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute report, Russia currently has 5977 nuclear weapons. Whereas America has 5428 nuclear weapons.
