According to the circular, on February 18, slaughter of animals and sale of meat will be completely banned.

The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) on Thursday issued an order banning the sale of meat and slaughter of animals on Mahashivratri, ie February 18. An order has been issued in this regard. According to the circular issued by Joint Director (Animal Welfare), BBMP, the slaughter of animals and sale of meat will be completely banned on February 18. In such a situation, an order has also been given to close the slaughterhouses in Bengaluru. 

Prohibits the sale of meat during important festivals including Shri Ram Navami and Krishna Janmashtami. Apart from this, the BBMP also bans the sale of meat and animal slaughter on October 2, Gandhi Jayanti.
