Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha said that in the ropeway project, it will be ensured that its work is done with utmost sensitivity.

For the convenience of the passengers of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi, preparations are being made to construct a passenger ropeway with a 12 km long track from Tarakot Marg to Sanjichhat at a cost of Rs 250 crore. This 2.4 kilometer long ropeway project will be completed in three years.

In comparison to the journey, you will reach the temple premises in just 6 minutes. The tender process for the ropeway project is in the final stage. Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha gave this information while dedicating the Tripti Bhojanalaya and Prasad Kendra cum Souvenir Center to the devotees near the temple on Monday.

It will be done that its work should be done with full sensitivity so that the local business is not affected. The ropeway project was sanctioned for the convenience of the pilgrims, especially the elderly and physically challenged, so that they can easily reach the temple and offer prayers.

The under-construction Durga Bhawan near the court of Vaishno Devi will be dedicated. More than 3000 devotees can be accommodated in this building at a time. Due to this, the devotees will get the opportunity to stay near the temple of Mata Rani.
