Supreme Court Collegium: Madras, Allahabad High Court got four new additional judges, recommended by the collegium

Apart from these four, the Supreme Court Collegium had sent a recommendation to the central government to make six other lawyers as additional judges on January 17.

Four lawyers have been appointed as additional judges in the Madras and Allahabad High Courts. The Department of Justice, Ministry of Law has issued a notification in this regard. The lawyers who have been made additional judges include the names of Prashant Kumar, Manjeeve Shukla, Arun Kumar Singh Deshwal and Venkatchari Laxminarayan. Prashant Kumar, Manjeeve Shukla and Arun Kumar Singh Deshwal have been made additional judges in the Allahabad High Court. And Venkatachari Lakshminarayana has been appointed as an additional judge in the Madras High Court. 


He has been appointed as Additional Judge for two years. Its Later they will be made permanent judges. Let us tell you that on January 17, the Supreme Court Collegium had sent a recommendation to the central government to make six other lawyers apart from these four as additional judges. Six of these names were approved by the Justice Department of the Ministry of Law in the past. Now the names of these four have also been approved. The Supreme Court Collegium recommended the appointment of Venkatachari Lakshminarayanan as an additional judge to the government along with the name of Victoria Gauri.
