Kashmiri Pandit Sanjay Sharma, who was killed in a terrorist attack in Achhan village of Pulwama district, was cremated on Monday. During this, the Muslim neighbors created an example of brotherhood. They helped in the last rites of Sanjay Sharma like a family.

He arranged woods for the rites and also shouldered the bier. Sanjay Sharma's family is the only Kashmiri Pandit family living in Achhan village. Local resident Mudassir Ahmed said, when we got the news of Sanjay Sharma's murder, the ground had slipped under our feet.

Hearing this, we immediately ran towards the house and took care of Sanjay's family members. He said that everyone in the village has cordial relations with Sanjay Sharma's family. At the same time, Sanjay's relatives said that the Muslims of the village always help him in times of difficulty and need.
