Chaitra Navratri is starting from Wednesday. Preparations for worship have been completed at all the Durga Shakti Peethas in Dharmanagari. According to astrologers, this time there are nine days of Navratri. In the scriptures, the entire Navratri is considered to be very beneficial for the seeker. On the first day of Navratri, Maa Durga will come riding on a boat. On the ninth day of Navratri, the birth anniversary of Lord Rama will be celebrated as Ramnavami on March 30.
Devotees shopped for worship materials to worship Mata Rani in Navratras according to the rules and regulations. Mainly in Haridwar Mansha Devi, Chandi Devi, Sridakshina Kali Temple, Bhimgoda Kali Temple, Maya Devi Temple, Sureshwari Devi, Sheetla Mata, Vindhyavasini, Anjali Devi etc. devotees worship Goddess Maiya for their family's happiness and prosperity.
The temples of Mata Rani are decorated with flowers and frills. Mother's courts were decorated in homes and temples. The work of cleaning and decoration has started in the temples. Statues of Mata Rani and shops of worship material have been decorated in the markets.
There will be bhajan kirtan in other temples including Durga temple. There is a huge crowd of devotees especially on the temples of Maa Chandi Devi, Mansha Devi etc. Religious rituals will be performed in the famous Devi temples of the area due to Navratri. Astrologer Pandit Vijendra Dutt told that Vasant Chaitra Navratri will start from Wednesday. They will end on March 30.
