British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has released his tax return.

British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has released his tax return. He has been revealed to have paid over £1 million in tax to the Exchequer since becoming the leading politician in 2019. It is believed that this step of the Prime Minister of Britain is part of the commitment to transparency expressed on his behalf in November last year.

Sunak, one of Britain's richest politicians, on Wednesday revealed that he received an income of 4.766 million pounds during 2019 to 2022 and has paid an amount of 1.053 million pounds as tax during this period at a rate of 22 percent.

When he was finance minister, the 42-year-old British leader paid £325,826 in capital gains tax while he paid £120,604 in income tax on earnings of £1.9 million. "I have published my tax returns in the interest of transparency, I said I would do so, and I am pleased to have done so," Sunak said during a visit to North Wales on Wednesday.
