Neetu comes from a modest family. His father Jai Bhagwan works as a bill messenger in the assembly. Hailing from Dhanana village in Bhiwani, Haryana, Neetu started her boxing career in 2012, but could not win a medal for two years. After this she became disheartened and started thinking of quitting boxing. However, the father encouraged him and asked him to keep working hard. The result of this was that Neetu made a strong comeback. The biggest moment of his career came in 2022, when he won the gold medal for the country at the Commonwealth Games. Now she has also won the gold medal in the Women's World Boxing Championship.

Came into limelight after defeating Mary Kom

Veteran Indian boxer MC Mary Kom was stunned by the punches of Neetu Ghanghas, known as Mini Cuba. Mary Kom was forced to withdraw midway through the 48kg trials at the Commonwealth Games after injuring her knee during a ring match. Started boxing journey in 2012

Neetu Ghanghas started her boxing career in 2012. His coach was Jagdish. She has been working hard continuously and has reached this point today. Neetu Chowdhary is pursuing MPEd from Bansilal University. His younger sister Tamanna is pursuing MBBS from Shimla. And younger brother Akshit Kumar is a shooting player, who has participated in national level competitions.

Neetu's mother Mukesh Devi told that Neetu likes her handmade desi ghee churma very much. Whenever she comes home, churma is always made for her.
