According to information, the BSF opened fire near the Narayanpur post at around 5 am on Saturday sensing suspicious circumstances from the Pakistan side. Later the search operation is going on at the border.

Earlier on Friday, BSF DG Sujoy Lal Thousen reached Jammu to know the condition of the border. On the other hand, after the Poonch attack, the vigil on the border was increased by the BSF. BSF was also deployed along the LoC in Bhimber area of Poonch.
