ISRO successfully launched two Singapore satellites TeleOS-2 and LumiLite-4 on Saturday afternoon by PSLV-C55 rocket.

Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) successfully launched two Singapore satellites TeleOS-2 and LumiLite-4 on Saturday afternoon by PSLV-C55 rocket. These satellites were placed in low earth orbit from the Satish Dhawan Space Center in Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh. POEM will also fly with these two satellites. POEM will do some testing in the vacuum of space. This was the 57th flight of PSLV.

Let me tell you, this mission has been named TeleOS-2 mission. With this launch, the total number of foreign satellites sent into orbit has increased to 424.

What is POEM

The full form of POEM is PSLV Orbital Experimental Module. PSLV is a four stage rocket. Its three stages fall into the ocean. The last i.e. the fourth stage, which is also called PS4, after the satellite is delivered to its orbit, the garbage of space remains. Now POEM will be used to experiment on top of this. This is being done for the fourth time.

What is Lumilite-4

Created in partnership with the Satellite Technology and Research Center of the University of Singapore. It aims to enhance Singapore's e-navigation maritime safety and benefit the global shipping community. It is of 16 kg.

What is TeleOS-2

It is a tele communication satellite. Singapore government has Prepared with the help of engineering students there. It weighs 741 kg. Tell me, it will give information related to disaster management.
