IS occupies parts of Syria-Iraq

Please tell that Al Qureshi had become the leader of the Islamic State in November last year itself. In 2014, the Islamic State captured parts of Iraq and Syria and implemented the Caliphate law there. IS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi declared himself Caliph. However, IS's sphere of influence has shrunk in the fight with the US and its allies. Although thousands of terrorists are still hiding in different areas of Syria and Iraq. US-backed forces and Kurdish-backed forces are still conducting operations against IS militants.
