In the last 24 hours, 4 thousand 282 new cases of corona have been found in India. However, it is a matter of relief that the number of active patients of Corona in the country is continuously decreasing and till Monday morning, only 47 thousand 246 active cases remained in the country. This is a drop of 1750 in the number of active patients in a day.
According to the data of the Ministry of Health, 14 people have died during this period in India, in which six deaths have been added from the Kerala side. With this, the total death toll has reached 5,31,547 since the epidemic started in the country. The daily infection rate in India is currently 4.92 per cent, while the weekly infection rate is at 4 per cent.
Earlier on Saturday, 5,874 cases of infection were reported in the country, while the number of patients under treatment was 49,015. According to the website of the Ministry of Health, the active cases are 0.11 percent of the total cases of infection, while the national rate of recovery from infection is 98.71 percent. According to statistics, the number of people recovering from the infection has increased to 4,43,70,878.
According to the website of the ministry, a total of 220.66 crore doses of vaccines have been given since the beginning of the nationwide vaccination campaign.
