Not only this, angry with this havoc of nature, the farmer also performed the last rites of the onion after crushing it. This incident is in discussions as soon as its video goes viral.

It has been told that in Nagpur, Maharashtra, many farmers have been harmed due to the indifference of the weather and rains. Farmer Yogesh Sonawane, a resident of Dangsondane village of Satna taluka, crushed 200-300 quintals of onions with a tractor when his onion crop was destroyed. Its video was posted several times on social media on Monday. The farmer who wasted onions said that forget about the fair and remunerative price, the farmers are not even able to meet the cost of transporting the crop after the rains.

Damage to onion, grapes, pomegranate, mango and vegetables

Significantly, many areas of Maharashtra have been affected by the rains this month. Regarding the damage, officials said that the rains have caused significant damage to onion, grapes, pomegranate, mango and vegetable crops in the district and the state government is conducting a survey to assess the damage to provide relief to the affected people. Due to this unseasonal rain, an economic crisis has arisen in front of the farmers doing seasonal farming.
