The information about the release of the result has been given by the Education Minister of Rajasthan, Dr. BD Kalla. The result will be released from the education complex of the capital Jaipur at 12 noon. 13 lakh students appeared in the eighth board examination from Rajasthan Board. This exam was held at 9401 examination centers in the state. Of 13 lakh students, students of both government and private schools are included. The examination of class VIII started on 11th April.

Those who perform poorly will not be promoted to class IX.

Rajasthan 8th Board exams are given grades instead of marks. A to D grade then the student will be considered a pass. Wherein E1 and E2 students will be considered failed. If there is an E grade in one or the subject, then a supplementary examination will have to be given. There is a provision to fail students in class VIII of the Rajasthan Board.
