After the meeting, it is not yet known as to what issues were discussed between the two heads of state in the meeting. In February last year, Russia invaded Ukraine. After this the PM spoke to Putin as well as Zelensky. On October 4, 2022, while talking to President Zaleski on the phone, PM Modi had said that India can contribute to any peace efforts. PM Modi and Russian President Putin had met in Uzbekistan only last year. Here the PM inspired Putin to end the war. At the same time, he had said that today's era is not the era of war.
