Sleeper version of Vande Bharat train is coming, coaches will be made of aluminum, speed will also be fast

According to information received from the ministry, sleeper coaches of Vande Bharat trains will be made of aluminum.
There is good news for the passengers traveling in the train. In the coming days, soon the updated version of Vande Bharat Express will be seen running on the tracks. According to the Ministry of Railways, by March 2024, the sleeper version of Vande Bharat will be ready. These new sleeper Vande Bharat trains will be used for long distance travel. The sleeper version of the trains will also be as special as the chair car.
According to the information received from the ministry, the sleeper coaches of Vande Bharat trains will be made of aluminium. These coaches will be made to run at a speed of 220 km per hour. However, while on the track, this train will run at a speed of 200 km per hour only. Preparations are being made for production in all the factories including the Integrated Coach Factory. Apart from this, supply chain, engineering, factory etc. are also being prepared. The first target is to connect every state with Vande Bharat train. On an average, a target has been set to produce two vehicles in eight days.
Recently, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav had said that the Ministry is working fast on the plan of sleeper in Vande Bharat for a distance of more than five hundred kilometers. Very soon passengers of Vande Bharat will enjoy sleeper class as well. Apart from this, by the end of June, the entire country will be connected with Vande Bharat. The ministry will operate 400 Vande Bharat. The work of 400 new Vande Bharat is being done at a fast pace. It is currently being manufactured at ICF, Chennai. In the next phase, approval has been given to make Vande Bharat at MCF, Rae Bareli. In addition, Vande Bharat will be made at Latur Rail Factory and BHEL. Due to which 75 Vande Bharat will start running by August 2023 and the rest will be made in record time.
Delhi Dehradun will start from May 28
Meanwhile, the Railways has released the tentative schedule of the Dehradun-Delhi Vande Bharat train. The train will formally start from May 28. It will run at seven in the morning six days a week except Wednesday. Joint Director (Coaching) Railway Board Vivek Kumar Sinha told that the train will have only five stoppages between Dehradun and Delhi. These include Haridwar, Roorkee, Saharanpur, Muzaffarnagar and Meerut. The maximum speed of the train will be 110 kilometers per hour. At the same time, the average speed has been fixed at 63.41. The fare of the train will also be decided soon. It is being told that the fare can be 1.2 to 1.3 percent more than Shatabdi Express.
Vande Bharat will reach Delhi in less than an hour than Shatabdi Express, the fastest train running from Dehradun. However, Shatabdi Express is run till New Delhi Railway Station. Whereas, this train will go till Anand Vihar only. This train will take 4 hours 45 minutes for the journey. Leaving Doon at 7 am, Vande Bharat will reach Anand Vihar railway station at 11.45 am. Vande Bharat will be passed at a slow speed from Ghaziabad railway station.
