The Educational Testing Service (ETS) announced that it is poised to make major changes to the Graduate Record Examinations (GRE) general test process. According to the information given by ETS, the duration of GRE test will be reduced to two hours from September 2023.
In addition, the Educational Testing Service (ETS) has also notified changes to the Graduate Record Examinations (GRE) General Test in the number of questions, sections, and announcement of results. GRE exam 2023 will be held from 22nd September this year and its registration window has already started on the official website - ets.org.
The major changes made in the GRE exam are as follows:-
Removed "Analyse an Argument" in the Analytical Writing section.
The number of questions in the Quantitative and Verbal Reasoning section has been reduced.
Unscored section has been removed.
Now the exam will be of two hours, earlier this exam used to be of 3 hours 45 minutes.
Moreover, candidates will now get their GRE results in eight to 10 days.
