The 17th Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) will be conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in offline mode using pen and paper.

CBSE CTET 2023: The 17th Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) will be conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in offline mode using pen and paper. Till now the Central Teacher Eligibility Test has been conducted online, but in the last two years, flaws were seen in the process operation towards the exam organizing agency. So this time, the CBSE CTET exam will be conducted offline in the designated exam center cities across the country.

Candidates have two months to prepare for the exam. From January 2021, CTET exam has been introduced online as Computer Based Test (CBT). However, the CTET unit has once again changed the pattern of the exam. Candidates will now have to mark their response on the OMR sheet.

Last date to apply: May 26, 2023
Last date for payment of application fee: May 29, 2023
Application Correction Window: May 29, 2023 to June 2, 2023
CTET Admit Card: August 18 or 19, 2023
CTET Exam: August 20, 2023
