Cyclone 'Biparjoy' has made landfall near Jakhau port in Kutch district of Gujarat and the process of landfall has started. Its speed can go up to 140 km per hour. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) said, "The process of hitting the cyclone has started." In view of the danger of the cyclone, the agencies have been put on alert. The director general of the department Mrityunjay Mohapatra said, 'The process of cyclone collision started after the entry of dense convective clouds into Kutch and Devbhoomi Dwarka districts. It will be completed by midnight.

According to the Meteorological Department, due to the cyclone, there will be heavy rains and due to the formation of 'celestial tide', the waves can rise up to 2-3 meters. Due to the cyclone, there may be floods in Kutch, Dwarka, Porbandar, Jamnagar and Morbi districts of Gujarat.

As a precautionary measure, NDRF, SDRF, Army and BSF personnel have been put on alert in these districts. In view of the possibility of heavy rains and floods, about 1 lakh people from 8 districts have been shifted to safer places. 15 teams of NDRF, 12 teams of SDRF are deployed for relief and rescue operations.

Due to the cyclone for the next four days, the rains may continue in Gujarat, Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and UP. However, the impact of this cyclone in Delhi is less expected. But there is a possibility of rain in the capital. According to the Meteorological Department, due to cyclonic winds, the rains may continue in Delhi for the next four days. There is a possibility of lightning in Madhya Pradesh due to Biparjoy cyclone. At the same time, there may be rain with strong winds in Punjab, Rajasthan and Haryana.
