NSA Ajit Doval said that Netaji wanted to free the country from political subordination, but wanted to change the political, social and cultural mindset of the people.

NSA Ajit Doval remembered Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, who filled new energy in the freedom struggle of the country with many slogans like Tum Mujhe Khoon Do, Main Tumhe Azadi Dunga, Jai Hind. He said that Netaji used to say that he would not compromise on independence for anything and he did not.

Doval said that Netaji's life and his sacrifice for the country is inspiring for the youth even today. Bose not only wanted to free this country from political subordination, but wanted to change the political, social and cultural mindset of the people. He used to say that people should feel free like birds flying in the sky.

Let me tell you, NSA Doval was saying all this while remembering the memories of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose in a program in Delhi.

He said that in 1928, when people started talking about who would fight for freedom, Bose came forward and said, "I will fight for my country." He said that there is a need to change the political, social and cultural mindset of the people. They need to feel like free birds.
