Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami, president of the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee, has objected to the CM's announcement.

The Punjab government will add a new clause in the Sikh Gurdwara Act 1925. The broadcast of Gurbani from Sri Harmandir Sahib will be made free for all. No tender will be required for this. CM Bhagwant Mann said that this proposal will be brought in the cabinet on Monday. The proposal will be presented in the assembly on June 20. At the same time, its protest has also started.ย

SGPC expressed objection

Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) President Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami has expressed deep objection to Mann's announcement. He said that the Aam Aadmi Party government is directly interfering in the religious affairs of the Sikhs. The government does not have the right to interfere directly in this.

Dhami said that Mann's government does not know that the Punjab government cannot interfere in the Sikh Gurdwara Act 1925. Only the Central Government has the right to amend it on the recommendation of the SGPC. Bhagwant Mann should desist from creating confusion within the Sikh community for his political interests. Gurbani broadcasting is not ordinary broadcasting. Its sanctity and dignity cannot be ignored.

Intoxicated by power, Bhagwant Maan Guru is clashing with the house: Sarna

Shiromani Akali Dal Badal's Delhi unit leader Paramjit Singh Sarna said that Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is trying to clash with Guru Ghar by announcing amendment in Gurdwara Act in arrogance of intoxication of power.

Sarna said that Bhagwant Mann does not know that the Punjab government cannot amend the Sikh Gurdwara Act. Drunk in power, Mann should desist from creating situations of conflict with Gurughar and Sikh Panth. Instead of interfering in the religious affairs of the Sikhs, all your attention should be devoted to the work of the Punjab Government. Ever since the government of Bhagwant Mann has been formed in Punjab, since then the law and order in Punjab is not correct. The Mann government wants to capture the Sikh organizations by increasing its interference in the SGPC, so that the Aam Aadmi Party can capture the Sikh organizations in the coming times.
