At least 31 people have been reported dead in a massive explosion caused by an LPG leak at a restaurant in China. The incident is from Yinchuan, the northwestern city of China. China's government news agency Xinhua reported that the explosion occurred due to a leak in liquid petroleum gas. Seven people were injured in the accident, out of which the condition of one is serious.

The accident occurred during the Dragon Boat Festival

The explosion occurred at about 9 p.m. on Wednesday at the Fuyang Barbecue restaurant in the residential area of Yinchuan. Yinchuan is the capital of Nanjing Province in China. Let us tell you that these days a three-day Dragon Boat Festival is going on in China. In such a situation, a large number of people go out and party with friends.

President Jinping gave instructions to strengthen security arrangements

After the information of the incident, more than a dozen fire department teams controlled the situation on the spot. The restaurant where the blast took place has been completely destroyed. There are many other restaurants near this restaurant, so there was a danger of the fire spreading to other restaurants as well, but the fire was brought under control in time. After the incident, Chinese President Xi Jinping directed that security arrangements should be tightened in all industries.
