Please inform that Ghazwa-e-Hind module was being operated from Pakistan and a large number of people are associated with this module, including many Indians. The NIA also raided two places in Patna, one place in Darbhanga, Surat and Bareilly. Digital devices such as mobile phones, memory cards, SIM cards and documents have been seized in the raid.

Mastermind was arrested last year

The NIA had disclosed this case last year. On July 14 last year, the Bihar Police had arrested a person named Margoob Ahmed Danish alias Tahir from Phulwari Sharif in Bihar. Eight days later, the NIA took over the investigation of the case. The NIA had filed a charge sheet against Danish in January under various sections of the IPC and the UAPA Act.

Radicalized by associating foreign youths with them

The NIA said the accused is a member of the Pakistan-based Ghazwa-e-Hind module. The objective of this module is to radicalize the youth by associating with them. Investigation revealed that Danish was the admin of Ghazwa-e-Hind group created on WhatsApp and its page was created from Pakistan. Many people of Indian, Pakistani, Bangladeshi and Yemeni origin were involved in this group. These people wanted to create sleeper cells in the country so that terrorist attacks could be carried out. The accused had also created several other groups on social media like Bangladeshi Ghazwa-e-Hind and added youths of Bangladesh to it.
