The US has strongly condemned the incident of Khalistani supporters setting fire to the Indian Embassy in San Francisco. There has also been talk of taking action from the US side in this matter. At the same time, the Foreign Minister of Canada has issued a statement after this incident and has called such protests unacceptable.

Canada's Foreign Minister Melanie Jolie tweeted, "Canada takes seriously its obligations under the Vienna Convention, Canada is in contact with the Indian authorities about the propaganda material being circulated online for the July 8 protests." Condemning this incident, he has called it unacceptable.

The US government expressed concern over this incident.
