How to use Threads

Meta's Instagram app is a photo-sharing multimedia platform, while Threads is a text-based social media platform similar to Twitter. If you have used Twitter then you will have no problem with Threads. It is very much like the old Twitter version.
In Threads, you can post up to 500 characters that can include web links, photos (up to 10 photos at a time), and videos of up to one minute. You can also block and follow someone in Threads. If you have blocked someone on Instagram, they will remain blocked on Threads as well. GIFS support and "close friend" are currently not supported in Threads. Apart from this, there is no feature of direct messaging at the moment.
