Security forces have killed four terrorists in a joint operation in Sindhra area of Poonch.

Security forces have achieved great success in Jammu and Kashmir. Security forces have killed four terrorists in a joint operation in Sindhra area of Poonch. The first encounter between the security forces took place around 11:30 pm last night following which drones with surveillance equipment were deployed.

According to the Indian Army official, the encounter resumed this morning with heavy exchange of fire between the security forces and the terrorists. Indian Army Special Forces, Rashtriya Rifles and Jammu and Kashmir Police personnel were part of the operation along with other forces. The terrorists killed in the operation are most likely foreign terrorists and their identity is being ascertained.

In addition, an encounter is underway between security forces and terrorists at Surankote in Poonch, Jammu and Kashmir.
