Bihar Chief Minister Nitish has returned from Delhi for the first time uniting opposition parties across the country against the BJP government led by PM Narendra Modi.

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has returned to Patna from Delhi. Before his departure, it was discussed that he would definitely meet the leaders of the opposition parties. Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal also had a birthday on Wednesday. Before catching the flight to Delhi, CM Nitish Kumar had also congratulated Kejriwal on his birthday by writing an official letter. It was being speculated that CM Nitish Kumar would definitely meet him. But this did not happen. There was also talk of meeting Rahul Gandhi, but Nitish Kumar came to Patna without meeting him. Talking to the media on Thursday afternoon, he said that he had gone for an eye checkup. After this, when he went there, he went to the samadhi place (always Atal) of revered Atal ji and paid homage. And I didn't talk to anyone. Didn't even meet anyone.

The name of NDA was also coined during the time of Atal ji

CM Nitish Kumar said that while praising the former PM, he said that we have had a very old relationship with revered Atal ji. They used to consider us a lot. We had said in the Parliament that Atal Bihari Vajpayee would become the next Prime Minister of the country. After that he became the Prime Minister of the country for the entire term. Respected Atal ji did a great job for the country. We can never forget our relationship with him. When I took oath as the Chief Minister for the first time, he had come to Patna for that function. The name of NDA was also coined during the time of Atal ji. NDA was renamed in 1999. There used to be so many meetings at that time. Now when we got a meeting of the opposition parties, then the meeting of the NDA started.

We did not go to Delhi to talk to any leader

Regarding the question related to the meeting with Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Congress National President Shri Mallikarjun Kharge, the Chief Minister said that we keep talking to the leaders of the opposition parties. We did not go to Delhi to talk to any leader. We keep on talking on the phone continuously. It was not that he was going to Delhi to meet him. I had gone to get my eyes checked. Meeting of opposition parties is going to be held in Mumbai on 31st August and 1st September this month. We will go to Mumbai to attend that meeting.

Nitish also targeted PM

Targeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi, said that did you ever run the NDA? When I.N.D.I.A. When it was done, he started holding meetings of the NDA. Does anyone remember when the meeting was held? These people have no perspective. Now, when two meetings of the opposition parties took place, they started getting upset because of that. Then went to the meeting of NDA. What does it have to do with who says what? You ask the public, they know everything. On increasing crime in Bihar, CM Nitish Kumar said where criminal incidents are happening. Who is saying There are very few. Look at the figure. Those people keep on talking about something without any meaning. The CM said that on the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, the Chief Minister said that there will be a tough fight, it will be very good. Will be in the interest of the country.
